Soon

The Villa Adriana (Hadrian's Villa) is situated in Tivoli, which is about one hour from Rome with buss. But I really recommend it, especially for the Canopus, that I found marvelous.
Also the villa complex (residence + theatre + therms + gardens etc) was constructed under the commission of the emperor Adrianus for his own use, which means the whole site got built within a very short lapse of time. And that is quite prodigious considering that Middle Ages cathedrals took centuries to build.
But yeah I don't know how many people were involved in the construction; since they had slaves at that time I guess there were much more workers and maybe not as much free time as in the Middle Ages.
